School of Choice

Welcome!  The Long Beach Unified School District handles School of Choice for all students. 

Parents must complete the school of choice process in ParentVue so be sure to sign in there to update all your information. If you need support getting connected on ParentVue, click the ParentVue support page under parents.  Parents of Private School students who have NEVER enrolled any child in LBUSD must create an account by following these directions.

incoming 6th graders - Window Opens March 2, 2026!

Stanford Middle School has a school preview night for 5th graders in the spring.  In 2026, the Site Night date is Monday March 2 from 6-7 pm.  At this event, families can visit Stanford to learn more about our school.  The window for submitting Middle School of Choice is from March 2 to March 25, 2026.  Click the middle school of choice website below for more information.

High school OF choice  - This was already completed.  Contact your home school or the school of choice office for how to enroll your student.  Assignments for the 26-27 will be posted on ParentVue January 23 at 4 pm
