Valerie Vinnard of Webster Elementary School is one of 212 educators in the U.S. recently announced as quarterfinalists for the 2024 Grammy Music Educator Award.

The Long Beach Branch NAACP recently invited 38 LBUSD students to its annual Law Day where they learned more about pursuing a career in law.

LBUSD will award diplomas to about 5,972 students at in-person ceremonies from June 8 to June 16.

LBUSD’s Migrant Education Program was once again a top winner at the annual Los Angeles County Office of Education’s Migrant Education Program Speech Competition.
